Pretty damn cool artstyle and theme, it's very lovely and I'd love to play more of it, if it weren't for two major issues.
-Crippling, and I really do mean crippling lag.
-The awkward and sometimes straight up contradictory control scheme.
If I had to subtract these two issues from a rating, this'd be a pretty easy 5/5, I really hope this gets more attention, and please reply if the issues are fixed.
If you have a powerful machine and a strong enough patience for the controls, this is a heavy recommendation.
Best of luck, cheers!
Hi sicave! Thank you for the feedback. I'm honestly thrilled to find out someone has played the game let alone took the time to provide some real constructive comments!
I agree about the lag issue. As this was never originally planned to be released publically we focused on the art style and project submission deadline. I would love to return to the project sometime and see if I can optimise the performance.
If you could provide any more details on which parts of the control scheme you mark as awkward I'd really appreciate it, but I can see you review a lot of games on here so no worries if you can't.
Thanks,
Ross
Moving forward always took time to actually steer forward, and moving sideways or backwards always moved in an almost random direction, and sometimes inputs wouldn't be received (but that's probably just a missed input because of lag).
You're welcome, and a good day,
Sicave
